We recognise and accept our moral, economic and legal obligations as an employer to provide a safe and healthy working environment, and will take all reasonable steps within our power to prevent the ill health and injury of employee and others who may be affected by our activities. Health and Safety should never be compromised for other objectives.
We are committed to complying with all Health and Safety and other requirements applicable to our business. Specific responsibilities for implementing and maintaining our Health and Safety management systems are defined in our main policy document. Ultimate responsibility for Health and Safety with the company rests with the undersigned.
We will identify significant hazards and plan for their elimination, reduction and control by conducting risk assessments at regular intervals, the results of which will be communicated to our employees. We will plan and budget to address the issues identified from these assessments and those deficiencies identified through our regular monitoring exercises.
Communication and consultation within the company are paramount and will therefor ensure that there are adequate arrangements in place to permit the flow of information both to and from employees and anyone working on our behalf or affected by our activities. our policy is available to other interested parties on request.
All our employees will be given adequate information, instruction and training as is necessary to ensure their and others' safety whilst carrying out their duties on behalf of the company.
Where we employ contractors, we will only appoint those who are professionally competent and compliant with relevant Health & Safety legislation.
Compliance will be regularly monitored, and our new policy reviewed and updated at least annually or in light of any changes in legislation or our activities or procedures, with any updates communicated accordingly.
To demonstrate an monitor our commitment to continual improvement in our Health & Safety performance, will will establish appropriate targets and objectives. These will be set and reviewed at management meetings. which are held annually as a minimum. This Statement is reviewed at least annually.
Will all have a legal duty to cooperate in all Health & Safety related matters, to not endanger others or ourselves and to not misuse anything provided for Health & Safety. In particular, all persons must ensure that appropriate Health & Safety rules are followed, as failure to so do may result in disciplinary action.
